In the beginning: Russ and Andy got together with a guitar to see what could happen. In one evening it seemed that the basis for the next few years had been born into existence. What transpired that night was something amazing – rough, but amazing.

Bigger: After a while the mutation spread and lo and behold two more members joined the movement. Mr Bald joined with his playful and excellent ivory tinkling skills and Aidy H (then of the Add Libs and now of The Blokes) became chief skin beater. As this awesome foursome TWK recorded an album (Don’t Complain) and also played some top gigs, memories we shall all take with us on our variable journeys.

Too Far: Once geographical positioning became a challenge too far, concomitant with other challenges, to maintain such commitment a new path was worn in the grass for TWK to follow. Like a long summer walk along the tow path of eternity the canal of destiny lead the way to barge of the future and the present set up of TWK was born.

Record Label: 2012 dawns, much talk of a new album/EP has been ongoing. Not to mention talk of releasing material that has been kicking around too. Toward the end of 2011 TWK signed up to Piggyback Studios own label Stuck Records.

Now: TWK are playing and gigging as a 3-piece with Mr Bald on the unconventional drums and with Andy and Rusty on guitars.

The Logo: The Weasel Kickers Logo was very skillfully crafted and designed by Sarah Cocker of SherryBaby Mural Designs. Sarah is basically and artistic genius and has very creative abilities that make us very jealous. Since designing the logo SherryBaby Designs have since tranferred to London Town. We are very grateful for our lovely Weasel logo. Peace. x
